Pre-Flower?

I read about the budding cycle and pre-flowering and was curious what anyone thinks, whether or not any of these could be ready for flowering? The taller one is at 8 weeks of veg the others are at 5 weeks of veg.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

They are ready! I'd say flip to 12/12. Remember that they will stretch and grow quite a bit after flipping to 12/12. The stretch slows and stops at about 1.5 to 2 weeks later. It's getting quite full in there already.

And closer...lol. Try and get in there underneath the canopy so we can see the stem close up with a few nodes visible. Look for little white hairs developing.

The method I use, which there may be an easier way, is I top the plant I want to sex, clone it, then send it to 12/12 to determine sex. I mark the clone to the corresponding plant to keep things straight. Once sex is determined you can move the clone back to vegg and have another plant or bud it out and get a few grams of smoke.
