I like the process of heating and taking a dab with the e-nail MUCH better than using a torch. I'm simply not experienced enough to know the right temp by feel. Using this, I have a thermostat so I can dial in specific temps for certain terpenes and flavors out of the cultivars. Knowing I can get repeatable results...sold! Using a torch I was definitely getting a burn. With this, if set high enough it will definitely burn. I keep mine around 390°
what is the size of the quartz piece that goes into my rig
how wide is it ? looks like 1/2 inch my rig opening is 3/4 inch what do you do to fit?
i use to use the quartz banger on my rig with plumbers torch .. ( only torch to get )
been around my whole left cheap and last forever almost till u start heating quartz

u get a much bigger hit with a quartz banger vs my electric nail.. do to the draw..
but the e nail is way more convinent and faster.. but i do miss the big bang
i was hoping the electric quartz banger gives u a bigger hit..

I'm more into the flavor of the concentrate than having a big puff of smoke. At those high temps, you're ultimately scorching any signs of terpenes left in your concentrate. Oil begins to melt at much lower temps than 390°. Cold start dabs is where it is at 100% and with a better overall experience since you're receiving the terpene benefits. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it. I've been more stoned off less smoke than a big rip due to the terpenes. Big hot rips is basically just burning the shit out of the thc.
For the size question, take a look at the other pictures I posted. I have the calipers but basically it is 25mm outside diameter. The inside of the coil is also 25mm. It is a snug fit.
