I used to do the wet paper towel thing, until I let it go just a LITTLE bit too long, and it rooted INTO the paper towel, and I broke it off trying to set it free. I wept. It was ONE seed that I really, really wanted to see grow. *sigh*

This is how we do it, but keep in mind that we are harvesting 110 or so plants. Stalk is cut, doesn't matter what angle just cut. Plant is hung upside down in a cool dark room. In a perfect world it is at 60 degrees F, with 60% RH. Three days. Then RH is lowered to 45%. Constant testing...

I dunno. I don't think ants are discouraged much from water. They LIVE in the ground, which is where water IS. And aphids are a source of food that they cultivate.

That's a good question. I've never had a ROOT aphid problem outdoors. I've had aphids outdoors. Anybody else know? There's lots of people here that have more outdoor experience than me.

I recenlty purchased a crop of 400+ plants outdoors that had seeded. Beautiful flowers. Dark purple and sticky as hell ... but, seeded. I bought it cheap, had it harvested and hashed. But, we ended up with seeds. I mean, seeds. I gave away a LOT but I have a five gallon pail almost full...
