Feminized seeds almost always produce female plants. They will produce seeds if there are any male cannabis plants nearby.
Keep your female plants away from all males unless you want seeds.
Based on reports in this forum, I'd say using hot water you can put your hands into comfortably is reasonably safe. I don't think we can tell at this point how much hot washes help or hurt the product
The papers I read on processing dried herbs and spices claim that cold washes and rinses...
Day 40-60 pics show nice growth. My experience says you may get another doubling in plant mass and another 6" in height over the next 20 days.
I'd train these plants a bit, moving the tallest stems out to fill the space. You'll get better yields of bud if you try to even out the canopy...
I'm a bit jealous now. :thumb:
It's like June here currently, but i suspect it wont last. We always get snow in late April or early May.
I need a green house. :)
$29 for 1 litre of 3%? My local grocery store has it for $1/qt.
You should change your wash water when it gets dirty. This will depend on how much debris is on the plants. The first rinse should be changed the most often. The last rinse is to remove the wash water with the (mostly) dead...
Your plants are looking pretty good.
I'd recommend using your fan to provide circulation top to bottom. Point it straight up in one of the corners or put it up top and force warm air down.
I'm having lots of success with the Mars Hydro Reflector series lights. It would be nice to have both flood and spot lighting capability.
Get your true watts up above 45w per sq ft and you'll be very happy with the results.
My experience says you would do well with a 96x3w reflector series light in that box. They have the bloom switch, so you can add intensity before you put plants into the bloom closet. My plants veg very well under these lights. They run very cool compared to most lights.
I run these lights...
I did hydro in the '80's and early 90's. I recall it being nice when it worked, but things often went bad. It always takes me a cycle or two to get a new grow setup working well.
I'm now using soil in the fabric bags and it's working out well for me. I like being able to take the plants out...
Should be interesting. How are you going to keep it cool in the summer under direct sun?
When I build sheds, I construct a jig on the floor using scrap to make all the roof trusses uniform and aligned. Each truss gets assembled on the floor with the plywood gussets at the joints. Each one comes...
Yes. It's the ethical thing to do, but hardly anyone does it. Greed dominates the industry. It's a rare person who will tell you all the things they have sprayed on their plants.
The biggest danger of these no-pest strips is to the people who have to breathe the gas. The agent does not...
