As stated above, PH needs to be at certain levels for certain nutrients to be taken in by the plant. Having it too low or too high can cause major lockouts. Work on the PH issues first as this can be a damaging culprit in the grow.
Your problems could be from the constant PH increases/decreases. Get it up to the 6.5 range with waters and feeds, give them a few days and then go from there.
All 4 seedlings ( MacDaddy left & Fritter Glitter right ) as of this evening. I am giving about 1.5 oz of plain water at this point. Typically, the soil I am using is known to be on the hot side for seedlings. This will allow me to get nearly to flowering without adding anything besides water...
I have an Apera and a cheapo....the cheapo has always been in range of the Apera, just make sure you calibrate the cheapo from time to time. But Blue Lab, Apera are 2 of the more known pens.
The real problem is.....there's 2 different kinds of "flushes" that are being talked about and many might think one is being talked about and not the other. Flushing salts = good when done right at the right times....flushing nutrients final 2 weeks of flower = Bro science and borderline plant...
A little update on the seedlings. As of this morning, the final seed has broken ground. The one I was keeping an eye on looks much better now. Just a little weird coming out the shell with the leaves being a little smaller than usual. All good though.
Sadly, I use plastic lol.
Thanks alot. This thread alone has taught me more in 1 day than I have learned in probably a month of different readings lol.
How does one know if salts are building up? I have reused soil over and over and over yet I don't see a difference from one grow to the next unless I run new genetics....even when using Fox Farms for nutrients. I no longer use the brand as I grow in soil, coco, hydro and find it's easier on me...
Flushing is for toilets only. Stop starving plants in one of the most critical areas of flowering. Now that plant needs to work on finding nutrients instead of just swelling.
