Oh yes! I believe now it was a largely pH problem! As for gnats...I have just found here that a dressing of sand on top of the soil stops the gnats. I will be dressing mine soon!:peace:

Thank you for defining...I knew the technique...just not the lingo! haha! Mine are candelabra shaped now, but there are times you need to know other techniques, plants are all unique, like us!
With my new knowledge applied, Day 2 and my clones still look great in the box! (I was advised to get distilled to use in the clone boxes and for misting.) Also, the mothers in their new soil are looking SO much better! The new growth is looking good! Ok...I can breath again now!

At approx. $300 for a purchased pest killer gallon that will make 6 gallons when mixed, I like the idea of mint. We have tons growing around here! You say 1 packed cup of leaves to 1 gal water. Is the strength critical I wonder?
