How are you managing the pH in the res now since the issues started? I remember you saying you would only feed what she can drink, is that still the case? I'm currently growing in a similar fashion with Promix though, and seeing swings up of .4-.5 pH in less than 24 hours in the res. Can't keep...

I've never done a coco SIP but wondering if it would be better treated like an autopot where the top dries out and allows excessive salts to build up top to reduce possibility of issues/imbalance?

Props on the beautiful well water to build on hahaha - I have not tested my water yet since I've moved recently, but I have the city's water report with some parameters missing. From the info I have most of the hardness is coming from Ca/Mg. I'll look into a water report as I can use it for...

This may be a weird question, but I have hard water from my tap - roughly 330ppm / 7.8pH - When you're calculating your ppms for feeding solution, are you adding the water ppm to the final calculation or subtracting it. For example, you're aiming for 990ppm as per your spreadsheet, would that be...

SIP Club - Getting Hydro/Coco Results In A Soil Based Medium

Thanks for the clarification - with forums/reddit posts I come across of people being told to flush for build-up/lockout I was under the impression this was a common issue with salts. I was looking mainly at Athena and Jacks but I will look into MegaCrop. What do you like about that over others?

SIP Club - Getting Hydro/Coco Results In A Soil Based Medium

I see! My main concern with automation is it fails not if but when. SIPs prevent me from flooding my tent, it’s why I’ve gone that route over automated systems. You could technically put the SIPs on an irrigation/reservoir just like autopots.

SIP Club - Getting Hydro/Coco Results In A Soil Based Medium

How do you manage feeding strength considering no runoff and how many times a week? Should this way of growing with synthetic nutes be treated as DWC feeding? And do you ever have salt build up in the reservoir? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for the help!

SIP Club - Getting Hydro/Coco Results In A Soil Based Medium

Hey guys! Been reading for a while - coming from fabric pots/living soil with great results. Im transitioning the way I've been growing for my whole life, not just cannabis. I know nothing about synthetic nutes - reading a lot about it but it seems like I wont get it really until I start trying...
