How long after harvest can seeds be used I had a male & it violated my female, So I tried to germinate some of the ofsping a cant get any to "root" any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated

Hi i am a 1st year last year was given a few ladies found it VERY interesting dont smoke but have family who do and as I said find it interesting plust tired of growing tomatoes...About my grow ,it is in soil , I use FF nutrients ,in the gound not in buckets, dont know what strains they are...
