Yes, it's nice to use R/O water... but I know growers who have great results with even higher PPMs of tap. I would not add anything until you see a deficiency - I'd just be prepared if you have high Cal since it can cause a mag. def. As far as dose... 1/4 tsp per gallon to treat. Some...

You really should be fine with that PPM - if the Cal is high, just add some epsom salts to counter act the binding effect with mag.

re: 480W & 720W Grow LED Hydro - Land Of Clovers This thread is definitely a must read for anyone considering an LED light. +reps when I can again to everyone. :adore: I do like my CMHs, but if I ever buy another light, it will most likely be one of Mike's GLHs. ;)

It works well with anything over 3 gallons I think - and the screen definitely air prunes the roots... I think I'll use screen instead of landscape cloth from now on. I might have to drill an "observation hole" in the next one - I haven't decided if it needs more air flow or not around the...

Here's a pic with both my hempy / screen pot on the left, and regular hempy on the right. Not too much difference, but the left ones do seem to be shooting up a bit faster.

Update on the buckets - the ones lined with landscape fabric are performing roughly the same as the regular hempy perlite buckets, while the ones with fiberglass screen and coco are growing faster... perfectly green and shooting out huge fan leaves... reminds me of DWC growth rates... hard to...
