I really can't afford a microscope money is extremely tight at the moment

Hi all I am a newbie grower looking for advise on harvesting I am using hsp and cfl lighting when I turned off the hsp my buds look a totally different color I am a poor grower with nothing more than a magnifying glass to look at tricomes they were started on March 8th any input would be helpful
