Couldn't agree more. I was talking about this the other day at my local grow shop. Why they suggest such large doses I don't know. I grow via NFT and DWC and never go above half the suggested amount.

Agreed man. I find that a cheeky defoliation in the middle really opens up. I know its early days but which method do you prefer so far?

They are over watered hence the drooping leaves but that doesn't explain the discolouration. What strength light are you using and at what distance.

Are they autos? Can you up load some pics?

I use Essential Hydroponics PH Down which contains phosphoric acid. I'm UK based though. Are you using hydro or soil?

I've heard of some people using lemon juice.
