12/12 cycle

would it be okay for the 12/12 cycle to be altered by 30 seconds or so?doing it manually.

Timers are very inexspensive and are very easy to aquire.If you can't invest money into a timer you really should not grow.

I am not trying to be rude.Sorry if it sounds that way.If you do it manually it creates a likely chance of you forgetting to turn it on or off.(After all I am assuming you smoke pot)

I just bought that 9 dollar one, been using it for 6 weeks now and haven't had to get off my ass to turn off/on lights.

if you just plain don't want to buy a timer, it wont hurt if it's off by a minute or so. But you better make sure you're home everytime you need to change the lights, and you have to remember to do it as well.
