So do I. My first time was in college, and of course It was just to get bud. Then I realized that I really liked how it relaxed me when I got home from class and checked on my plants.
Then, all we had was High Times magazines and Ed Rosenthal's book on how to grow. And of course bag seed from Mex brick weed, lol. But it didn't matter it was just relaxing and enjoyable.

Hey guys,

Just another update here: Today was a busy day! I’ve been fighting humidity to the point where there has been condensation in the walls of my flower tent that happens during the dark cycle.

I finally got a 4 inch fan in there and I’m pumping the air out a window. I think I’ll be able to control the veg tent fine for now just by monitoring the room itself but the flower tent was a different story, so between the new exhaust fan and another general fan at the bottom I hope it helps my humidity problem.

I had to raise my lights due to my one plant stretching up past them lol. I think everything is done stretching now.

I hit everything with a pretty good defol tonight. I got a new fan in my veg tent as well. Today marks day 25 in flower.

How’s it all look? Do they look okay for the point in flower that they are? I thank anyone who checks this out!

Are your tents against the outside walls of your home? This caused the same problem in my tents. A 1-1/2" (37mm) sheet of foam insulation between the wall and the tent corrected the problem.

They are not. I just think it’s cause the rest of my house drops temp so much. They are against a wall that’s shared by my other bedroom upstairs but when the whole house is 55 or so degrees aside from that room, I’m sure it doesn’t help. I do plan on getting some insulation to help if my new exhaust proves to not be as effective. But after just checking things out before lights out I’m very hopeful!

Thank you!! And that’s exactly what I’m waiting for! They are definitely starting to build some good sugar, especially my one in the back. So starting to see them build is next and I’m super stoked! Looking forward to seeing how the humidity and heat do during the dark cycle with the new fans though.

Hey everyone,

Just another update:

Today marks day day 32 in flower. It’s been cold around here so I just got a space heater hooked up in my rooms to a timer to try to help that out.

I haven’t been fighting humidity at all since I’ve installed my exhaust fan. No condensation or sweating at all in my tent. Everything seems to be doing well. Been pushing for proper dry outs as well.

All my stretching stopped a little over a week or so ago, so that has also been a plus. Starting to see sugar form nicely and just waiting to see things start packing on weight.

A suggestion for your space heater. Instead of a timer, try a plug in thermostat, it can be placed at canopy height and will keep the plants at the proper temp there. A space heater on the floor may run and run trying to come up to temp, all the while the top of the tent gets hotter and hotter.

Just another update: everything seems to be going along just fine! Yesterday was day 35 in flower for me. My temps and humidity have been doing great (thanks to all you guys for the help!) and pretty much just enjoying the ride here. Gonna do some more leafing probably tomorrow.

Im going to up pot my seedlings I have going just to gallon pots. They are about the size of a regular clone now. I’m going to veg them for about a week or so afterwards and flip everything in what is my veg tent at the moment. I want to downsize the size of my plants anyways. So I’m excited to see how my Mars Hydro does in my 2.5x2.5! I’m enjoying this a lot.

Do any of you guys have any go to sites for seeds?

Thanks guys! I really appreciate all the advice. I know there was more I could have done as far as training and everything but this is more of my “get my feet wet” grow before I start trying to advance. I will get some more pics up later today! Thank you all for your support and opinions!

Hey guys,

I hope everyone has been well. Been pretty busy on my end. Everything seems to be doing okay. One of my plants is already starting to change color leaf wise and I’m not sure why. I don’t know if it’s a genetic thing or what.

I was recommended a “super soil” of sorts made by a local old timer. I put it on the bottom 1/3 of the pot and maybe that’s messing with it? None of my other plants display the same characteristics.

Let me know what you guys think. Is there more I should be doing at this point?

Today marks day 44 in flower. When should I start flushing my Strawberry? It’ll be my first finisher for sure. Thank you all for everything. You all rock.

So today is day 45 in flower. This is my Strawberry Glue. I’m thinking I should start the flushing process? How does it look to you guys?
