400w hps

hi everyone,

i just wanna find out what growers veiws are on the G.E lucalox 400w hps globe


My current set up is 2x 400w magnetic ballasts running the G.E lucalox 400w in a space 8ftx7ftx 8ft tall to the roof,i will soon be getting another 400w setup so ill have a total of 1200w

Generally speaking people are not going to give their view on a product that they haven't used. You waited 2.5 hours for a response on an item that has literally thousands of competitors and people likely haven't used. It's an HPS bulb. The difference between any model is very little.

true that horse bomber but in 2.5 hours i had 73 veiws surely out of those somebody has to have used hps systems and could perhaps add a a few pointers or what they would recommend? seen as im sticking to the hps because i find that led's are to expensive to buy where im at in the world

Like metionned above most bulbs are rather simillar, especially in the lower wattage (400) any difference would not be much significant. 56000 lumen is nothing special. You could look into special spectrum lights is hortilux bulbs or MH (I forget what the name of it is) but they make some with some kind of a doube/improved spectrum. IMO good with MH for veg and HPS or flower and leave the fancy bulbs on the shelves.... My 2 cents.
