5 gal DWC question

Do I keep the water level about the same the whole time? Or drop it as the roots grow? It's been running about an inch or so below the bottom of the basket. Plant is healthy. Roots are starting to come in nicely. Was transplanted from soil start.

1-2"s below the bottom of the netpot is where you want it to be throughout the grow.
