Ok guys I'm currently housing 12 x special queen's with one 660w super lumen hps in a parabolic umbrella, I'm also running an 8" rhino + rvk, fresh air intake from an rvk 6", and a humidifier, the problem I'm having is heat, from the tip of the bulb to the soil in the pots I'm getting a reading of 26.6c, with the light being 28" from the top leaves, I'm thinking too far away?, the ballast can be adjusted from 660w, 400w, 260w and obviously moved closer, but I'm thinking that anything below that wattage want be sufficient, I've attached pics so ypu can see what I mean, thanks in advance
