Age of these clones and when to flip

Can anyone guesstimate the age of these clones? I picked these up from a local dispensary.
I'm trying to decide when to flip, I've been vegging for 28 days as of today, on a 18/6 cycle. The top nodes are getting closer and closer together, so maybe it's not really a function of time but rather when the plants say they are ready? And/or flip before they outgrow the tent when flowering :yummy:

Also, I have been trying to learn more about what I am dealing with. These particular clones have alternating nodes. When I grew (outdoor) in the 80's all from seed I recall all nodes being symmetric. Do the alternating nodes have anything to do with the age of the mother or possibly how many generations? (ex: clone of a clone of a clone etc)

Alternating nodes means it's mature. You flip to flower when you feel they're ready. They'll stretch 2 to 3 times their size, so plan accordingly or be prepared to use lst
