Well I'm a new grower and I'm still learning a lot but if i understand your question correctly you could use the LST technic ''Low stress training'' to train your stems and make them get closer to each other...?

I wrote a thread Yesterday about my first cannabis plant called ''Help! I feel like I'm doing everything wrong and I'm loosing my plant'', I was asking questions and advice and TheMadDabber one of the forum member gave me clear instruction on how to use the LST technic with pictures and examples of his own growing room and LST method... you could check the thread out if it can help you.

On top of that TheMadDabber have a really interesting and detailed growing journal that helped clear some questions out for me!
