I know where not supposed to trim the fan leaves but what about the mini bud leaves are they really essential for bud growth. thanks again and we all need to get up and smoke a j sometime

Cutting any leaves off you're plant that are not already dead will slow growth,
its not advisable.

If it ain't dying or dead it's producing energy for the plant. Why deny it what it wants?

The plant wouldn't grow them if it didn't need them. As soon as they are no longer helping the plant, they die and fall off on their own.
