-I would highly recommend adding pebbles to the bottom of each pot, about an inch and a half deep i done.
-yes perlite/coco 50/50 (i use pebble/coco 50/50)
-no need to flush on switch, just make sure you run about 5 litres through the system every week to keep it nice and clean and free of salt build up.
-when you fill your tank, testing the ph should be the very last thing you do to it, and aim for 5.5-6.5 (i do 5.8 in veg and 6.2 in flower)
-you also need a water pump or mini turbine in the tank to keep it mixed well and fresh.
