My 22 day old AK47 autoflowering plant is looking good to me (it's my first grow). It's 6 inches tall and 12.5 inches diameter and VERY bushy to the point that some leaves cover new growth. I'm using CFLs and a few LEDs since I'm just a small grower. I've read different LST techniques and was wondering if one of them would be well suited to this strain? It really isn't that large a plant yet so bending stems down probably wouldn't do much good at this point so is there a magic number of weeks or length of stem when LST should begin? Since the plant is really covering many of the initial leaves close to the soil should they be cut away so that the plant can focus it's energy on the new growth? Obviously I'm new at this so any guidance would be appreciated.
