Were they regular seeds from a seed seller, or "bag seeds?" If the latter, they could be a result of a female plant producing staminate/opposite-sex flowers as a survival thing (very late in flower, in the absence of a traditional pollinator, for example). In which case, they'd be considered to be feminized seeds.

Regardless, congratulations.

They're bagseed and you are absolutely correct feminized seeds are made for stressing female plants towards the end of flower so yeah I lucked up but what a stress until it showed lol

I wood go with @TorturedSoul on that. It's pretty rare to get all female from REG seeds. When I get that I am suspect right outta the gate and think the seeds were mislabeled and are FEMs. Which I usually dont complain (depending on outcome) lol.

Maybe its a moon thing cause I popped a 5 pack and got all fems from a reg pack. Just chalked it up as a mislabel. Hope the seeds are what I ordered... food for thought there.

The soil microbes looks pretty cool. Hope your growing the mycos the plants roots like!! Thats kinda important. Not an expert on it all I just grow em in the soil. Pretty cool to actually grow enough to see them. Try covering with a layer of straw and get a cover crop growing like red clover.

You'd get some no-till action going.

I have myco museum and I'm a ofanic grower for real alafala meal lobster shells oyster mussel shells earthworms alive in soil LAB trich and a !solitude of living soil organism and I usually order seeds online only fem or fem autoflower this grow is not the case these are literally seeds collected over time from weed for sale which are more than likely stressed seeds from fem plants so would never put straw as a top dress I rather use neem seed meal or quinoa so microbes can eat or wood ash hen meal biocar etc they're so many organic amendment wy would you use straw also I practice KNF techniques

Yeah, I failed to pay attention to the thread title, lol. Anyway, I'm glad you ended up with a "harem." Might try even more than usual in regards to minimizing (garden) stress, lest your plants do the same thing that their mother did ;) .
multiple different seeds from bought over time seeds all different hybrids n indicas n herm comes from I think more environmental than genetics but it does play a part but the fem seeds you buy online are a product of this method of u control tress you control of the plant goes into survival mode to pop out a seed or three to continue the strains future just like you can literally control a non predetermined cannabis seed to push to be a girl thru environmental etc like I stated but you can also control of said plant will hermie lightly or heavy or not at all happy grow

Typo these plants didn't go!e from one mother plant these are multiple different seeds from many high grade weeds over time

Straw is common in gardening specially no till in containers. You can use your cover crop of clover or the like and just chop and drop if you dont like straw. Anything to cover the soil so that the worms can do their thing. They like to live right there on the surface as long as there's something to cover them and keep them moist so thats 1 answer to "why wood l use straw."

It will decomp just like everything else. If you get really good straw like saltgrass straw or Wheat grass straw... there are many. Oh and gardeners that are professional like market gardeners, they grow it and use it in there gardens... its like a mainstay. Just sayin.

Hermaphrodite is a genetic trait. 420%

Environment wont change that fact. Wont help it but can make it happen but so can no male plants in the neighborhood .... thats also environmental. You wont control hermaphrodite with a better environment.

There are many many breeders that use male plants in their breeding program. Weed would be here if that wasn't true. In fact its WAY more common around the world that breeding with male plants is a thing.

Think about how we got Haze and White Widow... changed the cannabis world, they weren't made by reversing female plants.

Look up Nevilles Haze and or Greenhouse Genetics from Amsterdam. They put the blacktop down on the road to high thc cannabis. Then there's all the landrace strains grown for generations on the mountain sides around the world.

Week 3 no signs of hermies mostly indica looks like one hybrid going swell already getting frosty from the end of week 2 more than likely liquid squid making it happen that and uvb lighting

Hermies are genetic but I had and have multiple seeds more than likely from female plants stress popping out a few my seeds did not go!e from one mother it came from many hybrids and batches over months the convo is basically touting the facts that cannabis sativa seeds are not predetermined it's a science that is proven by many in the growing field the online guys selling you fem seeds are stressing there female plants and or spray colloidal silver to get their results I do plenty studying on cannabis and from the scientific community who post their results in this field

OK.... there are many ways to make FEM seed besides colloidal silver.

With a long running Sativa it will happen if you sneeze in the flower room after 95 days of flowering... its just what it is. Part of the game.
