Best way to water outdoor potted plants in late flower?

I am nearing harvest on all my outdoor plants. What is the best way to be watering them? Should I just continue the wet/dry cycle? Water them more frequently and keep them moist or drought them a bit between each water? Weather is going to be in the 70’s for the next week with lows in the low 50’s to low 40’s.

I’ve normally just continued the wet/dry cycle in the past but I’m always looking for improvement.

If they’re growing fine with what your doing, don’t change. That’s my advice. If the temps were to drop into the freezing area, then I’d make sure they’re damp.
