I have a 40x40 space, i run the light at 100w, how far from the plants should it be kept? Right now its at 11 inches from the biggest branch

May 21, 2021 #2 B bruno12345 Well-Known Member Well, you can download a lux light meter for Android, and try to make a conversion into ppfd, for a more scientific approach. And you can put your hand beneath the light, and see If It dont feels unconfortable for your hand to stay there for 30 secs or a minute. If It is too much for your hands, It is too much for the plant. Cannabis likes a Lot of light, but doesnt like much heat in the leaves.. Just my take, i use a hps, so cant give anything precise to you. Maybe someone who uses similar lights can help you more

May 21, 2021 #3 Skunksta Well-Known Member I would start at around 16" and work my way down if i see no stress.But search your light kinda different with each manufacturer. And the plant happy growing.
