Boveda dried out quickly?

I found some old bud that has been in a paper bag for a long time (years). I decided to try to rejuvenate them with a Boveda pack. I placed them in a coffee bean keeper which has the rubber seal and the lid is hinged with a clamp. After they were in there with the Boveda for about week, they seemed to be refreshed really well. I checked on them about 2 weeks later and the Boveda pack was completely dried out. I've checked this coffee keeper and it seems to be air tight. Could the bud have been so dry that it sucked the Boveda dry? This coffee keeper is about 20 ounces big and the amount of bud is not that much, maybe one medium cola about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide and the Boveda pack is the size 4, 62%..

Since the container was sealed it has to be the bud stealing the bovedas moisture. Grab a pack of mini hygrometer's and they will tell you the humidity of jared weed.

You can easily revive the bovedas pack, google it up you can revive them multiple times.
