Using marijuana for medical relief will be proposed again in the Wisconsin legislature again this session. Mike Simonson reports from Superior.

State Representative Frank Boyle of Superior has proposed the legislation for at least ten years but he says it is gaining momentum and is being legalized in some states.

Boyle says his bill would all people to use marijuana if it’s written as a prescription by a doctor. People who are going through chemotherapy, or are stricken with AIDS or glaucoma find relief from marijuana.

Boyle doesn’t expect the bill to pass this session…but he says some legislators including on the Republican side who used to oppose the bill now support it.
