Bubba Kush is a thorn in my side

I have been growing this stubborn plant for a few grows love it’s flavour but it grows the huges fan leaves like massive cut them after they get dark looking to expose the new undergrowth anyone got any tips but I’m thinking it’s not great genetics keep in mind the plant is only a foot tall and still in veg

I get leaves like that on my Northern Lights Autos, they are Indica predominant. Mine are about 12 inches high.

Indica dominant have huge fat leaves and that's normal.
