Bugs in soil

Theses fuckers popes up after I added a banana peal to the surface of the soil so the rolly pollies can hide under I growing organically in soil and made some homemade compost that I mixed in as well. Do ya think it might have came from the compost? If I can get any help to identify theses guys id highly appreciate it? And what I can do to get em gone🙌🏽thank y'all🙌🏽

As far as I know spider mites go for the plant not the soil….they need foliage to feed, nest and mate. It’s hard to see in your photo but maybe they are hypoapsis miles (soil mites / predator mites)

soil mites are beneficial insects…

Are they climbing the stalk? Are they feeding on the plant?

The plant doesn't seem to mind it and they hang out on the base of the stalk but not the whole plant....still haven't seen any damage but will keep a few food scraps for them to feed on
