Can I mix fresh rabbit manure into my planting hole?

starting to prepare my planting holes out in the garden, can I mix a little fresh rabbit manure into the planting hole? Or will this be to strong? I know it was full of worms when I loaded it up. Thanks all.

Yes bunny turds can be used fresh. For fresh use I avoid the straw and anything with a lot of urine on it. The poo is very strong. I’m still working on figuring out the right mix, and I’ve been going by eye - but as a wild guess maybe the equivalent of one or two tablespoons per gallon?

I think I’ve generally been using a bit more than that, but I have been overdoing it a little.

I also top dress most of my houseplants with it. The plants love it absolutely and it makes for beautiful vibrant leaves.

Rabbit manure is only 2-1-1, so it should not burn plants easily. I use chicken manure, but mix it in the soil a little bit away from young plants so the roots can grow into it.

It’s about twice as strong as chicken manure, but unlike chicken shit it’s not hot when fresh- because bunnies digest their food very thoroughly.

I get cow and horse manure from local farm dry it out and put into an old blender. regards
