cant quite get the Gravity Bong to work.

ive tried the gravity bong a couple times at parties, and when i try to make them myself it doesnt come out right,

when i cut a soda bottle in half, and slide it together, the sides always get pushed in somewhere, allowing smoke to escape,
anyway to fix this?
any ideas that work better?
(sometimes i cant use the bathtub method)

a standard 2 liter soda bottle

like since its the same size circumfrence, the plastic has to bend to fit, know what im saying?

i usually use the waterfall method for my g bongs, it works very well just make sure you burn the weed fast enough to keep going when the water is pulling out, it has to be consistant flame or really well cherryied, as long as lots of smoke is filling in container its all good man
