Change to flower

Hey guys sorry for the long time posting got the new light in and my purple kush took off like a shot my question here is it time to change to flower timing any help would be great. She is about 6 weeks of veg.

Nothing wrong with switching to flower now. It depends on how much space you have to flower in, and your own personal preference. Larger plants are harder to handle, especially if you need to move them. What size pot is it in?

think of the plant twice its size,, when your flower space can only handle a plant twice the size you have now,, it's time to switch to flower, imo

She is in a 3 gallon for 2 weeks now my tent is 36x24x68 I have a scrog screen in it so I can cover the hole thing with stems

I have not scrogged yet, but I think your net should be almost full before changing to flower.

I dont have to scrog I just wasnt sure how much she is gonna grow I figure double and she is all tied down

plenty o folks on here fill the screen then flip to flower,, however,, they are prepared for the plant doubling in size, and most would have a second screen a foot above the first one to hold up the doubling in height branches.

just be aware and prepared,,

How far away is your light? I have a 1000w LED that I’ve had tough luck with. I’ll be following along to see the pot o’ green.

When I start with the light I put it 24 inchs away because it is a full spectrum and I was getting more blue lumis then red on meter for flower drop it to 18 and u will get all the colours red being more prominent first pic is dec 14the and the second is 8 days later

Hey guys quick question this is my plant today 9 days into flower should I take some leaves off and thin her out abit or will I damage her thanks

One or 2 might not hurt. The plant will still stretch more depending on the strain and the pheno. Lots of time this will open up the plant enough. It is best to wait tell stretch is over before doing to much. Fan leaves are the engines of plants and are best left if you can. It never hurts to take a few leaves so light can penetrate inner branches. Just do it sparingly
