CMH bulbs with remote ballast with a air cooled hood or cool tube

I been curious and looked a little bit not a lot and haven’t found any answers. But can a cmh bulb and ballast been used on a air cooled hood or cool tube as long as the cmh bulb is in proper orientation and everything would it work or not and if not why or what would be the “bump in the road” if you will. Any and all responses welcomed

Nvm I think I figured it out.....and I believe it’s possible to do as long as the bulb is in proper orientation and as long as your using the cmh ballast o and need a cmh bulb adapter to fit mogul socket
