Hello everyone,

Recently my green thumb has started itching again, so I decided to dust off my old 150w hps and fire it up.

This will be my first grow in a couple of years, but I do have several harvests under my belt.

I've only used this 150 once, so I never got to master it. I was really happy with this light the 1st time around, this time should be even better.

I was originally only going to scrog one plant, but after a slow start I decided to keep two, and pick up a few extra fluorescents.

I'll be working with a roughly 2'x2' space
150w hps
125w + 65w Cfls
Fox farms soil in 4 gallon grow bags

Strain is bubba kush x deathstar

Appreciate any feedback

So like I said I had a slow start so these plants are a little small at 5 weeks old. I made a few rookie mistakes and I was struggling with low humidity and low night temps. I don't really mind the longer veg, I just hope it doesn't affect the quality of the smoke.

I've raised the lights on purpose to encourage a bit of stretch, because they are very stocky with tight internode spacing.

Both were lst'd with one being topped later on as well. The plant didn't react well to it, and growth stunted as you can see.

I don't want them to get too crowded, but I do want to maximize yeild so I am watching the growth very closely. I can't be sure how they will react to the flip, and the window is very narrow. They are indica dominant so I am expecting no more than double the height during stretch.

Update

Don't know if anyone cares but i flipped the lights a few days ago

One plant was already showing preflowers before the switch, and I'm pretty positive that the smaller one will be female, too

I think they could have been a bit bigger but oh well, they should still fill out nicely.

Sup everyone

We are a couple of days away from 2 weeks into 12/12

Due to the stretch the plants started to get a little smushed, so I decided to rearrange the setup.

I don't think the light spread was affected too negatively, but in any case I decided to add another small cfl. I now probably have an equal amount of lumens from the cfls and the hps, so it should be interesting to see how the buds turn out. I'll always be a fan of cfls and their niche in the space, but I'll be the first to admit the bud quality leaves something lacking. I think it's the spectrum.

Anyways, i recently read an article that says plants respond negatively when they are touched, I pretty much molest my plants daily so I hope this isn't true.

How do you all think the growth is looking? Let me know in the comment and thank you for checking out my garden!
