I'm sure LED lighting has been discussed a million times, so I'm just hoping someone can point me in the right direction for some LED resources that are written in laymen's terms. I'm no engineer and if it's to technical I won't be able to hang with it.
I'm setting up a small space, 24" x 24" x 45" tall. I was originally planning on using 250 watt compact fluorescent, and still might, but I'd like to know what size LED I would need for my space? What are the advantages over compact fluorescent if any? I know the initial cost of LED's are much greater, but if I can keep a budget around $500 I'd be willing, I want to do this right. Oh and I'm thinking of Master Kush or Cali Orange Bud for my cabinet.
