Crazy Growth

BBxNL, two days into flower after 40 days veg. This is from the first internode and has seen fit to get its self all the way to the cannopy. Is this normal growth? Been a few years but don't remember seeing anything like this.

Seems to be hapening on majority of plants in one form or another. Is this streching? Answers/comments will be appriciated highly.

Yes its normal. Plants will strecth 3-4 times there veg height in the first 3-4 weeks or flower. You can grow 6 inches in a day easily.

Nice one McBudz, although that may be a bit more than I can handle! Plants are deeply intermingled and now competing for space. I'm aware this seems to be a big no no but does this warrent a bit of pruning? See below for what I mean.

Dont prune. They will stretch out and make room for the colas. If you get big fan leaves in the way of other bud sites tuck them rather then cut them.
