Cannabis Holiday Health Fair "Meet Your Medical Cannabis Professionals"

Everyone knows someone who has a medical condition that cannabis can help. Learn about cannabis as a safe and effective remedy for nausea caused by chemotherapy, muscle spasms, severe pain and more.
The Cannabis Health Fair is an opportunity for the general public and lawmakers to meet the medical cannabis professionals currently working in the Denver area and some of the patients that they serve. Our last Cannabis Health Fair in Boulder in September was a huge success, with lots of information and lots of fun. Please join us at our second event, the Cannabis "Holiday" Health Fair, this time in Denver at the Holiday Inn.

*Purpose* This is a public and legislative outreach event designed to answer questions about cannabis as medicine and how to become a legal patient in Colorado. Cannabis has been used safely for over
10,000 years as medicine by humans. It is only in the last 70 years that citizens have not been able to enjoy the benefits of cannabis and the many conditions it treats. The Cannabis Health Fair is designed to educate people on the best ways to legally take advantage of this wonderful plant for the treatment of many symptoms and diseases.
This event is designed for the general public and is a family event. There will be speakers and exhibitor tables and lots of information on the history and future of cannabis medicines.
Absolutely no cannabis medicine is allowed at this event.
*Exhibitors* Exhibitors will include medical cannabis dispensaries and collectives, caregiving businesses, therapists and holistic health practitioners, cannabis research businesses, medical cannabis attorneys and business consultants, advocacy groups, lawmakers, and many others fields related to medical cannabis and industrial hemp.
*Holiday Gifts* Absolutely no cannabis medicine will be displayed or dispensed. However, exhibitors will have other products for sale, and patients will also be selling arts and crafts for the holiday season, so this will be a good place to pick up some unique gifts.
*Lawmaker Corner* All state and local lawmakers have been invited, and some may attend the event to meet their constituents. We will set aside some tables for a "Lawmaker Corner" so that lawmakers can mingle with the public and cannabis professionals as well. Bring your lawmaker to the event and receive a free gift!
*Best Medical Cannabis Handout Contest* Since the main purpose of this event is education of the public and lawmakers, we are encouraging all exhibitors to enter some literature in our "Best Medical Cannabis Handout" Contest. The handout can be a pamphlet, flyer, booklet, copy of an article, a research study, or something similar. The public will be given scorecards and will be encouraged to visit the vendor's tables to receive their handouts. The public will vote for the best handout in four categories: Best Design, Most Facts, Most Clever, Most Powerful. Click here for the complete contest rules.
