Difference in pot and hash high?

I was talking to my uncle today who is an old school head and he talked about how when he was younger he and his friends always preferred hash when they could get it to bud as they preferred the buzz.

I always thought that hash was just the concentrated trichomes of the weed, right?

So wouldn't the high be the same, just needing to smoke less?

Or do the trichomes have a different high that the plant matter?

I don't know the chemistry behind it but since hash doesn't have the plant material, just (mostly) the active ingredients that affect you, those affects are purer. This probably means the high isn't as complex. Bubble hash I had recently was almost entirely cerebral, came on fast and strong. The first time I smoked it I didn't want to talk to anyone for many hours. After I got a handle on it it was a very social high, not stupefying. I also like it for it's stealth factor.

Seems it would depend on the Process and extraction method
If the High was changed.

Dry Kif and Pressing would maintain the original strains assets
and not change the chemistry Thang

Its super strong so the buzz is more intense also without the plant matter the taste tends to change with age. A spice like flavor thats very appealing.

^that spiciness that Urdedpal is talking about is more pronounced the fresher the hash is.

Definitly a differnt high.I used to like making salads,I'd heat up 1/2g of hash and pinch off small balls of the hash and then mix it in a bowl of Dank.If the balls are small enough it will burn evenly with the herb.Its also a differnt buzz,the 2 compliment eachother and is pretty tasty too.
