a ballast or ballest or watever with a sodium light? Just 150watt, cause i went ace hardware and they said you could just screw it into any lamp. And the hps light bulb is only like $24.99. and im only growing one plant in my closet. sorry if im not spellin every thing right, cause im pretty fuckin blasted right now!

Are you sure the two of you were discussing the same light?

Although with the lower wattage lights, some have a "built in ballast" so they can work in a regular light socket.
