what i did was get a water bottle, put a hole thru the cap, and i had a broken bubble nozzle thing..u know, the type u put on ends of an air pump, well it broke and i had the tip of it and so i inserted a clear air hose into the tiny hole i made in the cap and then put in the tip of the broken bubble thing so that it tightens it and the water bottle can be placed somewhere and have the CO2 hose closer to the plant. in the bottle i filled it 1/3 with sugar, a fair amount of yeast, and opened the hot water tap and slushed the mix around until it dissolved. within 10 minutes i had bubbles forming!!

the left over of this is a bottle with murky yellow stuff that smells of beer.

yeast + sugar + water -----> CO2 + water + alcohol
