Don't want to throw off my seedlings routine

I need to move my seedlings from my temporary room to the permanent veg room I built. It's not far, only about 50' across the basement. Should I do this when their lights are off and expose them to a small amount of light for 1-3 minutes or should I do it while the lights are on and deprive them of sufficient light for 1-3 minutes? Is such a short time even a factor that will stress them?

I would do it when they are sun up...... Wouldn't want a 3 minute light fix to then FIX your girls.....let them be in the dark unless your got a green bulb.... Then hell.....hopefuls helps...:riskybusiness:

I have a green bulb but only in my grow area, nothing between there and my temp area. I figure I'll do it maybe 2 mins before my lights turn on, that way it will be a bit of a transition from dark to light.

Thanks for the input!

Sounds like an excellent plan that way the sun is now up....and they will be fine.....:riskybusiness:
