dwc using co2 instead of air?

hey guys I was wondering, what would happen if you connected a co2 tank to the airstones of a deep water culture setup and had that running instead of the air pumps?

plants absorb Co2 through leaves, and oxygen through roots...I would think supplying Co2 to roots would kill your plants...I could be wrong tho

I do believe you are correct! Co2 to roots=dead plant.
