Well not exact model but its 12v dc 5.6 w can we determine amperage?
Im getting 0.46 ampere am i correct?
Yes i do my math was off thanks
The 1203BB DC Motor Speed Regulator controls the speed of a DC motor by adjusting Pulse-Width-Modulated (PWM). It provides a continuous current of 3A to your DC motor or other DC load. Besides, the circuit also includes a 3A fuse, with reverse connection of power supply and control the forward or reverse direction and the stop of DC motor by switch.-
Features-
- Color: As the pictures shown.-
- Material: Metal.-
- Size: 5 * 3.2 * 1.5cm.-
- The input power range is DC6-28V.-
- Control the forward or reverse direction and the stop of DC motor by switch.-
- Potentiometer with switch function.-
- The switch cable length 15cm.-
Operating instruction-
Before you attempting to wire the controller, make sure that the power is off.-
1. Connect wires refer to the wiring diagram.-
2. Turn on the power, and adjust the potentiometer.-
3. The LED indicates the power up and the speed of motor.-
Warning: Do not reverse positive and negative power loads. This will damage the controller!-
Package Including-
1 * 1203BB 6V 12V 24V 3A 80W DC Motor Speed Controller (PWM) Adjustable Reversible Motor Driver Switch
Your amperage is determined by your load(fans) not your supply. You have 2 fans at 5.6w a peice correct? So that's 5.6x2=11.2 watts. 11.2 w divided by your 12 volt supply = .93amps. This is higher then your 800ma power supply can provide. I'm surprised your controller didn't come with an appropriate power supply or link you to one. Again, I'm not an electronics specialist but I cannot imagine why this controller would supply a constant current of 3 amps when your load doesn't not require it. IMO it should read " Capable of supplying a constant current of 3 amps"
Ya wrong buy lol oops can you show me one that is appropriate possibly with a power supply this is for a veg box im using to give it intake outtake fans basicly
