TUCSON, Ariz. In two separate incidents, Border Patrol Agents in Southern Arizona seized nearly a ton of marijuana worth an estimated one and a-half (m) million dollars.

Yesterday, Border Patrol Agents on patrol near Choulic (SHOO'-lay) recovered a truck with 57 bundles of marijuana, weighing 12-hundred-50 pounds.

The pot was hidden in a false compartment in the bed of the truck.

In the second incident, agents on patrol near Robles Junction encountered a white 1989 Ford commercial flat bed truck near milepost 41 of State Route 286.

The agents conducted a vehicle stop.

They detected a strong odor of pot.

Agents requested a drug sniffing dog who alerted to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle.

A subsequent search revealed a hidden compartment with 42 bundles of marijuana, weighing over 706 pounds.
