"Farmers Market" model Marijuana Collective...a new legal way of doing it?

Is a "farmers market" approach a good way to go?

I'm convinced that if the collective to which I belong in California operates on a model similar to a farmers market that we can stay within the realm of the law and still accomplish our goal of living. Our current idea is to take product on consignment from local boutique growers, collect a "reimbursement for expenses" from non-growing members (which would include service overhead), and return to the growers the amount they reported as their cost to produce. Any input would be appreciated.

Washington allows you to grow for one other medical user but you can't even let him pay the electric bill. NO MONEY can be charged.

i think a farmers market type deal would be best.

that way growers who belong to whatever collective could all meet once a wk for a farmers market.

but better yet it should be like a real farmers market...but with better security.

this would give everyone a chance to come out and show their best stuff while getting their $$$ back at the same time...

charge X amount for booths, etc.

everyone wins.
