why do you think changing the soil makes sense? plants look fantastic.

hmmm youre a real go getter huh! always room for improvement agree with that but it looks like your soil did you well. when you yank em ouuta the containers you can evaluate the roots ... i bet they are gonna be full.

Hey guys, so finally I can show you some trichome shots!!! i used a children's microscope, and had to improvise quite a lot, but I managed to get a few shot. They aren't good, but they work. Im hoping for some good feedback now, I'm quite nervous 
And here are the buds:
So some of the trichs are amber, and I think about half are milky, but its so hard to tell, this microscope isn't that easy to use..

Those look like leaf shots. Just like squat trichomes can amber up first, the leafs do the same. It's the calyx that is the better gauge.
But, from the leaf shots, you can infer a few things. See if you can look at a few calyx, in a few different areas of the plant. If they look similar, then you should stop all feeding and just use water - then pull in about a week. If there are still many clears on the calyx, then go another week, and then stop all feeding, and pull the following week. Of course, this is just advice, you could likely pull her now with good results. Flowers are looking

CareStaker, you really know your cannabis! 
I was hesitating to hurt them too much, since I need to take samples, so I only went for the sweet leaves. But I took a couple of calyx samples now and did some more pictures and its a different story, just like you said

Do any of you guys drink craft beer? Because this cannabis smells exactly like a citrusy/grassy american IPA, exactly!

I don't beer anymore, but I've read that cannabis and hops, are genetic cousins, so that makes total sense.
Calyx looks spot on for ~ 2 weeks, they are maturing well, mostly cloudy, some milky, some clear.
You can get better gear as you go, to get a better look at them. I mostly use the Radio Shack 16$ microscope, that everyone gets. It's great. I also got a cheap USB micro, which works passably.

We don't have Radio Shack here, and I've checked a few different stores and got nothing good, I could buy something off ebay, but It would my grow would be all done by then .. but then I found this thing:
And then made this with my phone:
So now I can take pictures directly in my growbox, here they are, I think a lot more are turning cloudy now:
I hope I'm not breaking any rules with this many photos

Hey guys, how are you all?
I'm sorry I never got to update you on the end result of this grow! By the end I got really busy with something else and I was somewhat disappointed with the yield of this grow..
Sadly I have no pictures but I got about 32g of bud from these plants, I then took the remaining seeds and germinated them and moved them outside, but it was rather late. One of the 4 plants didn't make it and the end result of that grow was 60g of bud and the rest of the plant I turned into some good bubble hash. Not the best yield, BUT the smoke was great, really enjoyed this weed a lot!
I'm inviting you to check out this years grow, I'm doing various strains, outdoor, 21 plants, and so far its looking better than anything I did before.
