First time grower.

Hi

I'm attempting my first grow but hoped to get a bit of help/information.

Lightwise I think i'm going for

CFL Lights > CFL Grow Lights > Budget 250W CFL System

Has anyone had any experience using this light system and is it any good? If not could anyone suggest an entry level lighting unit. I haven't got loads of money to spend.

Also I'm growing hopefully 2-3 plants in my closet. Will this be enough juice?

In terms of hydro vs soil I'm totally undecided and could do with some advice. WHat are there any advantages/disadvantages to either?

I think for 2-3 plants youd need 2 of those lights for good results, if you can fit them in your closet.
One 250w hps and a good reflector is what i would go for trying to grow 2-3 plants.

As its your first grow id suggest soil, its more forgiving for mistakes that we all do in the beginning. You can always go hydro after a couple grows if you want.
