Flourescent & HPS or MH & HPS lighting question

Hey guys, just need some advice. Setting up the area for my first grow - I have a MH/HPS fixture that has one socket and 2 interchangeable bulbs (1 MH & 1 HPS). Would I be better off using the MH for vegging and switching to the HPS for flowering? Or would I be better off using flourescents for vegging and using only the HPS? Thanks for the help...

You can get a conversion bulb. Thats a good way to save some money and still get a good grow. You can grow with the flouros and hps. Thats what I'm currently doing. The mh will work better for you though.
