Flowering stage differences between 8 week to 12 week finishers.

Hi all, so I’m trying to understand the differences between a regular 8 week finishing strain opposed to a 10-12 week finisher and even a 9-10 week finisher. I am currently in 3rd week of flower with a CaliOGxHaze and I want to know how the stages differ from shorter flowering strains. Typically you have the stretch faze 1-3 weeks, 3-4 weeks is formation of budlets, 4-6 weeks fattening of buds and finally 6-8 weeks or longer is the ripening stage. So my question is how would that look for a 9-10 week strain such as CaliOGxHaze. If someone wants to expand on that including the 10-12 week finishers that’d be great too. Thanks for your help. Gratitude and appreciation from me..!

The longer term finishers are typically sativas or sativa leaning hybrids. Those strains typically grow nearer the equator where the growing season is extended.

I think it's more likely that each of your stages is longer and more spread out, but follows the same general path.
