Fluoro for veg?

does the light fixture have to be a t5 inorder to work for vegging period and clones?

No... T5's just last longer.

and are brighter... I'm vegging with 2 2' cool white fluoros and 2 18" plant and aquarium fluoros. Just keep them about 2-3 inches off the tops, now once they get so tall the fluoros start to not work so well b/c they really only get light to the top part of the plant but they're perfect for clones and seedlings.
