Former Hawkeye star running back Adam Robinson is scheduled to appear before a judge Wednesday afternoon on a marijuana possession charge.
Des Moines police said Robinson was involved in a traffic stop on Dec. 2. Robinson was in a car driven by a former Lincoln High School teammate. Police said marijuana was found in the car.
Robinson was already under suspension from the Hawkeye team at the time he was charged and did not play in the Insight Bowl.
Coach Kirk Ferentz has since kicked Robinson off the team.
